Trainers / Entrepreneurs in Residence

  Beth McKeon  - Beth McKeon is a serial entrepreneur and educator. She is the Director of Fluent where she offers on demand accelerator management and startup coaching. She currently serves as Managing Director of Velocity Accelerator at Innovation Depot in Birmingham AL. Prior to that, she led NMotion Accelerator in Lincoln NE and started and sold the Kids Calendar, a media startup serving parents and families. Beth is also an experienced educator and professional development coach with over 12 years experience in the private and public sector. Throughout her career in education, Beth’s work focused on personalized, responsive instruction and interactive, hands-on content. She received her Master’s degree from Columbia University in 2005. Today, Beth combines her passion for product/business design with her education background to deliver hyper-targeted and customer-focused training and product/program development.

   Steven Bellofatto   - In 1994, Steven co-founded ION Design, an award-winning industrial design and product development firm celebrated for its creativity, artisanship, collaboration, inventiveness, and success. Over the course of over 20 years, the firm has created innovative design solutions for its clients, which have often resulted in intellectual property. For 10 years, he served as an adjunct faculty member at New York University in Manhattan, Department of Design & Digital Arts (NYU/SPS), from which he recently retired to pursue creative endeavors. Steven is signatory to over 25 patents in a variety of industries and is eager to share his wealth of experience in industrial, mechanical and bio-medical design and manufacturing to the VVM Startup Accelerator.
